String Trio
Along with our string quartet, the Charleston Virtuosi string trio is one of our most booked ensembles. A typical trio features two violinists and a cellist, or one violinist, a violist, and a cellist. We also offer custom combinations, such as replacing one violinist with a flutist for a different sound. We recommend the string trio for up to two hours, making it a great choice for ceremony and cocktail hour music. If you need a longer performance, we suggest the string quartet. A quartet delivers a fuller, richer sound and offers more versatility, especially since many classical pieces and modern pop covers were originally arranged for four musicians.
Want to enhance the experience even more? Add a trumpet player for a beautiful church ceremony entrance, or a guitarist or pianist for a fresh sound. No piano on site? We can provide a professional keyboard or arrange a baby grand rental. For cocktail hour, a cajón player adds rhythm and energy to the trio.
